Hasbro Transformers 2007 Movie Protoform Optimus Prime figure, which represents the hero in his Cybertronian "entry mode" form before he takes on his familiar Earth vehicle. This version of Optimus is from the earliest days of the live-action movie franchise, a unique collectible capturing the character's initial descent to Earth.

• A unique Cybertronian form: This Deluxe-class figure is based on Optimus Prime's "protoform" body, a distinct, muscular, and alien-like design with visible mechanical details and false wheels sculpted onto his sides.                                                            
• Converts into "entry mode": The figure transforms into the comet-like mode that Optimus Prime and the Autobots used to travel through space and enter Earth's atmosphere. A detachable "flame decoration" accessory attaches to the back of the vehicle mode to complete the fiery re-entry illusion.                                                     
• Simple yet effective coloration: The figure features a Color scheme of grey and black plastic with silver paint applications on details like the grille, fender, and smokestacks. A simple red and blue paint application is used to denote some of Optimus's classic colours.
• Includes an accessory: The figure comes with a rifle accessory that can be held by Optimus in his robot mode. This accessory can also be attached to the top of his vehicle mode.                                                                                                                  
• Collector appeal: According to Aaron Archer, the figure's designer, a darker, more film-accurate deco was released in The Last Knight toyline, years after the original movie. This makes the 2007 version a true collector's item, representing the figure's initial release and design.
